As the Social Media Assistant, your creativity and innovation in the use of social media allows our supporters to join the journey as we work toward fulfilling our mission of restoring hope and transforming lives, in partnership with local churches across the UK. You not only develop positive engagement experiences targeted to our range of supporters, but you also build strength to the systems required to implement them effectively, efficiently and ethically.
As the Senior Programme Manager, you will lead in living as an example of healthy and authentic Christian leadership by actively cultivating a faith-filled environment, facilitating opportunities for personal and professional growth, and empowering both staff and residents in developing resilience and self-management skills. As a member of the Senior Management Team of Mercy UK, you are responsible for the overall welfare and well-being of staff and residents; ensuring that the provision of the residential programme; its culture and curriculum, remains in line with Mercy UK’s core values, guiding principles, ethical framework and best practice guidelines.
You know what really makes you come alive? You love seeing people learn to overcome. You are often their cheerleader and at times, their coach and you understand that overcoming takes encouragement, patience and determination. As a member of this skilled team, you will be trained and empowered to bring support and encouragement to the residents of the Mercy UK Christian residential support programme during nights and weekends. As residents wrestle through their own healing journey and put into practice all they are learning, you will support and signpost them towards healthy choices and ways in which they can strengthen themselves in their relationship with God. As part of the team, you will work on a rota-basis and work towards creating a fun and secure home environment.
