A focused, residential experience to engage deeply with the Keys to Freedom framework

The Keys to Freedom Retreat is a structured, Weekend (3-nights) or Mid-Week (4-nights) residential experience designed for individuals who want to step away from everyday demands and engage intentionally with the Keys to Freedom principles.

Delivered in a peaceful countryside setting in Oxenhope, Yorkshire, the week combines teaching, guided reflection, and personal processing time within a clear and purposeful rhythm.

This is not an open-ended retreat. It is a defined programme for those who are ready to engage, reflect, and apply.

Relationship with God

Relationship with Self

Relationship with Others

What to Expect

Across the week, you will work through the core themes of:

  • Relationship with God

  • Relationship with Self

  • Relationship with Others

The programme includes:

  • Teaching sessions

  • Guided reflection

  • Optional group discussion

  • Personal reflection time

While the retreat is delivered in a group setting, the experience itself is personal and self-directed. There is no expectation to share personal experiences or reflections with others. You are free to engage at your own pace and in a way that feels appropriate to you.

Before You Book

The Keys to Freedom Retreat is designed for individuals who are able to engage independently with a structured programme in a residential group setting.

Before booking, please ensure the following reflects your current position:

  • You are able to commit to the full 4-night residential programme

  • You are in a stable place and able to manage your own wellbeing throughout the week

  • You are comfortable being part of a group environment (without any expectation to share personal details)

  • You are ready to engage with the teaching, rhythm, and structure of the programme

  • You are able to take full responsibility for your participation and experience

If this reflects you, the retreat is likely to be a good fit.

The Keys to Freedom Retreat is not a clinical, therapeutic, or crisis-response environment, and does not provide counselling or mental health provision.

If you are currently receiving therapeutic support or working through significant personal challenges, it may be appropriate to complete that work before attending a residential retreat.

Retreat Formats

Keys to Freedom retreats are offered in both a Monday–Friday format and a weekend (Friday–Monday) format. Both retreats cover the full Keys to Freedom content and follow the same teaching pathway, ensuring a consistent experience across both options.

The difference lies in the pace and structure of the delivery.

The Monday–Friday retreat provides a more spacious, paced experience, with teaching spread across the week and regular free time built in for rest, reflection, and personal processing.

The weekend retreat follows a more focused and intensive rhythm, with teaching sessions and group activities delivered across the day and into the evening. Time is still provided for personal reflection and application, though free time is more limited than during the mid-week retreat.

Both formats provide a structured environment for teaching, reflection, and personal application, allowing participants to engage meaningfully with the Keys to Freedom principles.

What You’ll Cover

The retreat follows the Keys to Freedom workbook, including:

  • Hearing God’s Voice

  • Committing and Connecting with Christ

  • Renewing Your Mind

  • Choosing to Forgive

  • Healing Life’s Hurts

  • Breaking Generational Patterns

  • Using Your Authority in Christ

  • Maintaining Life-long Freedom
