Pastoral Support Worker

Pastoral Support Workers are empowered to bring support and encouragement to the vulnerable women in the Mercy UK Christian residential support programme during nights and weekends. The teamwork on a rota-basis and are responsible for engaging and supporting the residents in the process of improving their well-being and sense of self-esteem by cultivating a fun and secure home environment.

Hours: 17 hours per week minimum. Hours will be worked following a rota which is sent out monthly in advance
Salary: £17,160 per annum (based on FTE 40 hours) £8.25 per hour during waking hours plus £20 on call sleepover rate per shift worked (from 1st January 2018 £8.45 per hour)
Start date: TBC
