Jars of Love
What is small but can make a big difference?
Here’s a clue: it’s something we’ve made especially for you! They’re called Jars of Love, and it’s a quick and easy way to support the work of Mercy UK in 2016!
It’s so easy! Find a spare jar or piggy bank. Put the jar somewhere in your house, workplace or church and use it to collect all that loose change we often carry with us. Every time you put a coin in the jar, we would love it if you could remember us in prayer: 2016 is a big year for us, and your prayers make a huge difference!
When it’s full donate what you have collected to Mercy UK as a love offering, helping young women with life-controlling issues find hope and restoration. You’ll be surprised at how quickly those small coins add up to a big difference!
If you’d like to take part in Jars of Love, we would love to hear from you! Please email us to get more information and get started today!
Move for Mercy
What is the ultimate challenge for you?
Will you take on that challenge for Mercy? There are so many ways you can invest into the lives of women to see lives transformed and hope restored. Baking cakes, running marathons, sky diving or even a sing-a-thon!
Run or Dye 2016!
Not the type who find running a joy, and push ups a delight?! Well, we have the challenge suitable for you, a 5km fun run through the rainbow of coloured paint. This is the world’s most colourful 5km – Run or Dye! You can have the experience of a lifetime and raise vital funds for women battling with life-controlling issues.
1. If you would like more information or to sign up to the event please email us! We are so excited when we hear what you’re up to. We can provide you with a fundraiser pack with sponsor form, posters and information leaflets.
Tell your friends, family and colleagues what you are doing, and why. Share the message of Mercy; hope restored and lives transformed.
Last year a team of crazy people took on their biggest challenge, ‘TOUGH MUDDER’. You could do the same this year, running 12 miles, through 28 obstacles and raise sponsorship for women who are going through life’s obstacles on daily basis. Billed as ‘probably the toughest event on the planet’ this obstacle course saw us diving into ice-cold water one minute and into a pool of mud the next! (Check out the Facebook photos if you don’t believe us!)
But it’s not over yet! If you would like to fundraise for us, please consider doing the Tough Mudder Challenge in 2016 (there are many Tough Mudder Challenges being run around the country, and the world on a regular basis!).

The Great Mercy Bake Off
If you love the Great British Bake Off, here’s a great way to have some fun with friends while raising money for Mercy! It’s easy: simply get some Master Baker friends together, organise a ‘Paul’ and a ‘Mary’ to judge, and then host a bake off where everyone makes their best Showstopper and the proceeds can be donated to Mercy UK! Some of our Community Partners have raised hundreds of pounds through doing their own Great Mercy Bake Offs.

Mocha For Mercy
One easy way to raise money for us is to have a coffee and cake morning at church or with friends, where everyone donates a small amount of money towards Mercy UK. It can be a big event for the whole church, or as small as a few friends meeting up in a home – and we could even come and speak to you about the work of Mercy, to get you really inspired!
Make For Mercy
Our supporters are incredibly creative people – and we love seeing what amazing ideas and projects you can come up with! Why not create a piece of art and auction it for Mercy? Or make some beautiful cards and donate the proceeds? Whatever your talents and passions, we would love to speak to you about the creative ways we can work together, to bring hope and transformation to women’s lives.
However you would like to get involved, we would love to hear from you, so please do get in touch with us by calling + 44 (0) 1535 642 042 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
